"Le Logis Fénélon" has recently been restored to make the most of the elements of 14th century architecture to be found there. With respect for tradition, modern comfort has been harmoniously introduced into this 3-star apartment, making it a favoured address in Sarlat's historic centre.
The large living room, for example, will charm you with its lovingly restored ancient stone walls and its ancient fireplace which was discovered during the recent restoration work. Past and present have been brought together for your pleasure and comfort. The sun enters the room through a large glass door, accentuating the golden colour of the stones and the polished wooden floor. The view is of the historic Mirepoises town house whose façade is decorated with mullioned windows.
The sleeping area has also been restored to keep intact the charm of bygone days. The bedroom/bathroom suite with its calm and restful atmosphere has a splendid 14th century fireplace recently discovered and restored. The marble-decorated bathroom completes the peaceful feeling. Through the window which looks onto the rue Présidial, the view is of the very beautiful Fénélon town house, and the medieval buildings of the town beyond.
